STARFLEX 2050
Starflex 2050 is a blend of aramid /synthetic fibre based sheet sealing material bound with a high quality SBR.
 
Service
Suitable for use in application involving hot and cold water, saturated steam, and inert gases.
 
TEMPERATURE & PRESSURE
Recommended Temperature -200 °C to 250 °C
Maximum Recommended Pressure Vaccum to 10 MPa (100 bar; 1450 psi)

These temperature and pressure guides cannot necessarily be used
simultaneously and may not apply at all thickness.

Thickness 1.5mm
Density 1.84g/cc
ASTM Compressibility 7% to 17%
ASTM Recovery >50%
ASTM Tensile Strength >13MPa
 
AVAILABILITY
Sheet size 1.5m x 1.5m
Thickness range 0.5mm to 5.0mm


(Note: For designing, variables will change with different thickness. Recommended Surface Finish- 125rms to 500rms. Please refer to manufacturer.)
